Alexander Brothers Indicted on Sex Trafficking Charges in New York City

Prominent real estate brokers Oren and Tal Alexander, along with their brother Alon, have been indicted on sex trafficking charges in New York. Oren and Tal Alexander, founders of the luxury real estate firm Official, with offices in Manhattan and Miami Beach, are facing serious allegations involving a sex trafficking scheme. Alon Alexander, Oren’s twin, who worked at the family’s private security firm, is also implicated in these charges.

The FBI and the U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York came together to announce the charges against the Alexander brothers at a news conference held on Wednesday. It is alleged that the brothers orchestrated a sex trafficking operation that targeted numerous women between 2010 and 2021, starting from when they were in high school.

According to U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams, the brothers abused their wealth and influence to lure women into events and parties where they were subsequently sexually assaulted. Oren and Tal Alexander leveraged their positions in the real estate industry to entice women to these gatherings, leading to a string of alleged assaults.

Williams highlighted that the brothers organized trips both domestically and internationally to carry out their crimes, offering luxury accommodations, travel opportunities, and access to exclusive events to recruit women. The defendants reportedly used various means, including social media, dating apps, and party promoters, to connect with their victims.

Moreover, Williams mentioned that the Alexander brothers and their associates provided drugs like cocaine, mushrooms, and GHB to incapacitate some victims, making them unable to resist or escape. Subsequently, the women were subjected to sexual assault and rape by the defendants. Describing the alleged crimes as “heinous,” Williams urged anyone with relevant information to reach out to the authorities.

As the case unfolds, officials in Miami Beach are set to hold a briefing regarding the multistate investigation, indicating the magnitude of this legal action against the Alexander brothers. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
