Upon receiving a report of an assault, officers were dispatched to the location. They discovered a 20-year-old man with facial injuries and a 70-year-old man experiencing head pain. Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital and are currently in stable condition.
According to a spokesperson for the former governor, the two victims were attacked while out for a walk near their residence by individuals who had a prior interaction with the stepson. Despite sustaining injuries, they managed to defend themselves against the attackers. As a precautionary measure, both individuals were taken to Cornell Hospital for evaluation. As of now, no arrests have been made, and law enforcement is actively investigating the case.
David Paterson, who is 70 years old and a member of the Democratic Party, served as the governor of New York from 2008 to 2010, assuming office after Eliot Spitzer’s resignation in the wake of a scandal involving prostitution.
