A man in Wisconsin is facing serious charges after being accused of killing and dismembering a 19-year-old college student following their first date. The man, identified as Maxwell Anderson, allegedly informed a friend about his plan to harm Sade Robinson weeks before she went missing, as per a recently revealed court document.

According to reports, Anderson allegedly intended to use a handgun to lead Robinson to his basement where he planned to kill her. The tragic incident occurred after the two met up on April 1 at a Milwaukee restaurant. Anderson has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder and mutilating a corpse in connection with Robinson’s death. Additionally, he is facing a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Robinson’s family.

Robinson’s disappearance was reported by a friend on April 2, leading to the discovery of body parts believed to be hers scattered across the Milwaukee area. A leg identified as Robinson’s was found at Warnimont Park on Lake Michigan, while her car was discovered burned about nine miles away the same day. Investigations revealed remnants of her phone and clothing in the vehicle.

Authorities took Anderson into custody on April 4 after blood was found in his home, although DNA tests did not match Robinson’s. A confidential informant shared details with the police, stating that Anderson had plans to shoot Robinson, dismember her body in the basement, and dispose of it throughout the city. Despite these allegations, Anderson’s attorney has dismissed them as false and unsupported by physical evidence.

A pretrial hearing for the case is scheduled for September 13, with Robinson’s family accepting her degree in criminal justice studies on her behalf at the Milwaukee Area Technical College graduation ceremony. The tragic incident has left the community shocked and saddened, emphasizing the importance of safety and vigilance when meeting new people.
