Recent reports indicate that Russia is using cheap drones as decoys to detect Ukrainian air defenses. These unmanned aerial vehicles are equipped with Ukrainian mobile phones to relay images back to the Russian military, enabling long-range attacks on Ukrainian defenses.
In a show of resilience, Zelensky and his wife visited the National Specialized Children’s Hospital, which was previously targeted by Russian bombs. Despite the attack, the hospital is rebuilding and continuing its operations, providing care to young patients.
Authorities arrested an 18-year-old suspect, Viacheslav Zinchenko, for the assassination of former Ukrainian lawmaker Iryna Farion. Farion, known for promoting the Ukrainian language over Russian, succumbed to her injuries after the shooting. Zinchenko, a law student with possible ties to far-right and Russian neo-Nazi groups, was apprehended in Dnipro.
Zelensky commended the efforts of the country’s security forces in bringing the perpetrator to justice, emphasizing the importance of uncovering the truth behind the crime.
