A Florida man, David Phillip Turner, 33, was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the shooting deaths of his ex-wife, Crimea Malita Baker, 33, and her boyfriend, Sean Lange, 34, at their Maryland home. The incident took place on August 25, where the couple was found dead in their bed by deputies. Turner, who is the father of three of Baker’s four children, is believed to have fired more than 42 rounds at the couple in a crime of rage and anger.
Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins stated that Turner snuck into the house through a back door and shot the couple at around 1:25 a.m. The children, aged 13 and younger, hid in the house for hours before feeling safe enough to come out. Fortunately, they were unharmed in the shooting and are currently staying with relatives.
