Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new lawsuits for sexual assault, including accusations of raping women, sexually assaulting men, and molesting a 16-year-old boy. These lawsuits were filed anonymously in federal court in Manhattan, with at least six lawsuits in total.
One of the accusers, a man from North Carolina, claims that Combs fondled his genitals when he was 16 years old at a party in the Hamptons in 1998. The man alleges that Combs ordered him to drop his pants under the guise of inspecting him as part of breaking into the music industry. The man later realized that this was sexual assault and felt fear and power imbalance during the incident.
Other lawsuits filed against Combs include allegations of rape, forced oral sex, and drugging victims. Prior to these lawsuits, Combs had only faced civil cases and a criminal indictment related to sexual activity with adults.
Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, which accuse him of coercing and abusing women with the help of his associates while using blackmail and violence to silence victims. He has been held at a federal jail in Brooklyn since his arrest in September.
Combs’ legal team has not responded to requests for comment on the new lawsuits. When the lawsuits were announced earlier this month, a lawyer for Combs stated that he could not address every allegation in what they called a “reckless media circus.”
The accusations against Combs come at a time when the #MeToo movement has shed light on sexual misconduct and abuse in various industries. It is crucial for victims to speak out and seek justice for any harm they have endured.
