A Texas man named James Hart, 51, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly tampering with the body of his girlfriend, Giselle Salazar. Salazar, a 30-year-old mother of four, was tragically found dead at a local dock in League City on May 31. While Hart has been charged in connection to Salazar’s death, he has not been charged with killing her, according to court records.
The League City Police Department expressed suspicion about Salazar’s death due to the unusual positioning of her body. Her arm was found raised without any support, leading detectives to believe that she may have died at a different location before being moved to the dock where she was discovered. Paz is now taking care of three of Salazar’s children with the help of his mother.
