The Bizarre Saga of a Lamborghini and a Dole Bludger Unveiled in Sydney Court

In a surprising turn of events, the peculiar story of how a Lamborghini found its way into the possession of a dole bludger has come to light in a Sydney courtroom. Mahmoud ‘Bargo’ Bargshoon, who had been relying on Centrelink for five years, was apprehended by the police in nothing but his underpants while he had the luxury car in Sydney’s western region in July last year. The rather unflattering footage showed heavily armed officers pulling Bargshoon out of the Parramatta unit he shared with the widow of a notorious gangster, Fatima Hage, before seizing the high-end vehicle. The detectives were probing into the unexplained riches of individuals with suspected ties to organized crime networks at that time. It is important to note that Hage was not under investigation, nor was she accused of any illegal activities.

The Lamborghini, a black Huracan LP 610-4 coupe (Vehicle 1), had been involved in a crash on June 3, 2018, resulting in its listing on the written-off record maintained by Transport for NSW. Following this incident, the vehicle was sold on a damaged car auction site towards the end of 2018. Fast forward to June 2021, the car underwent repairs and a new coat of paint in a shade of grey. Eventually, on July 29 of the following year, a different Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-2 EVO coupe painted ‘Blu Cepheus’ (Vehicle 2) was registered with NSW plates DGH 78C. Tragically, about nine months later, in May 2023, Vehicle 2 was set ablaze by unknown individuals in Homebush, a suburb in Sydney’s inner-west. The burnt-out remains of the car, which Bargshoon had reportedly rented before the arson, were retrieved by its rightful owner shortly after.

The convoluted journey of these Lamborghinis took another twist when Vehicle 1, which had been salvaged after the crash, was put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace in September 2023 with a price tag of $160,000. The seller explicitly stated that the car was a ‘statutory write-off in Australia’ and cautioned against test drives due to its legal restrictions on Australian roads. Meanwhile, a 37-year-old individual visited the Service NSW office in Gregory Hills, Sydney, and transferred the ownership of the fire-damaged Vehicle 2 to his name. With a declared worth of $10,000, Vehicle 2’s plates were later changed from DGH 78C to FBZ 18Z. Bargshoon made headlines once again in September 2023 when reports emerged of a dispute between his ex-girlfriend Rose and wife Fatima Hage over a missing Rolex watch.

The tangled web of events took a bizarre turn as Bargshoon was found guilty of harboring on his premises items suspected of being unlawfully obtained. Notably, a blue Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-2 EVO coupe met its fiery demise in Homebush in July 2022, further complicating the already intricate tale. Despite facing legal repercussions, Bargshoon’s entanglement in a feud over a Rolex watch between his former and current partners added another layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama. The tumultuous romantic history of Fatima Hage, involving tragic losses and ties to criminal elements, painted a picture of a life filled with danger and intrigue. As the story continued to unravel, the true motives and connections behind the Lamborghini’s journey remained shrouded in mystery, leaving many questions unanswered.
